About
I’m Mina — Boricua/Norwegian roots, former elite athlete, now a yoga guide, writer, body-based artist, and peer supporter. My work unfolds where body, land, and story, meet: holding space for movement, reflection, and nurturing decolonial efforts in Boriken (Puerto Rico).

My Journey / Mi Camino
For over a decade, elite performance and perfection shaped me – disciple, rankings, and the “good girl” mask. However, at one point these anchors became more harmful than supportive, and I found myself questioning everything I’ve believed to be ‘right.’ This lead me to embark on the journey of decolonizing, re-indigenizing, and shedding what no longer is not true for me.
This path has carried grief, emptiness, and moments of lostness— a loud quiet that demands attention. From there, each step in front of another, has entailed relearning to listen to my body, tending back to the land, and letting art flow through me.

What I do
I weave the ancient Indian practice and philosophy of Yoga, body-based art in nature that honors the sacred female body, and reflective writing into practices that illuminate our connection to the land and each others. I guide individuals and groups through movement, creative expression, and rituals grounded in land and ancestral memory.
